It’s ridiculous that celebrities can spend the amount of money that equals a year of my college tuition on a necklace like it’s nothing… and I can’t even afford a taco.

Staying up late tonight was both worth it and not worth it at the same time… How so? You may ask? (Or you may not ask, but I’ll tell anyway..) Me: *Calling an administrative counselor at The Master's College who I'd previously talked to through e-mail about my interest in transferring there* (She seems super nice, I have nothing to be nervous about)
Phone: *ringing*
Phone: *other line picks up* "We're sorry, your call cannot be completed as dialed. Please-"
Me: *hangs up* ...*thinks: Man, I'm an idiot. The call is out of my area code, I have to dial '1' before the number, duh. Why didn't I do that in the first place..*
Me: *tries calling again*
Phone: *ringing*
Phone: *other line picks up* ...it's the answering machine
Me: *thinking: Oh, darn, I'm already nervous, now I have to leave a message!*
Me: [insert 'my awkward message shortly explaining who I am and my reason for calling followed by awkwardly leaving my home call-back number' here].............
Me: *hangs up after leaving message*
Me: *Facepalms, stands up, grabs blanket that was wrapped around me before making the phone calls that I'd taken off after the first phone call, put blanket it over my head before slowly walking back to my bedroom*
